New Training Courses Available in 2024

I’m happy to announce that I’ll offer two new training courses in 2024:

In the first training the participants learn how cloud-based design concepts and architectural design practices can be used to effectively design cloud-native software architectures. Moreover, they learn how cloud-native software architecture designs can be leveraged to modernize the application and technology portfolio of an organization.

In the second training the participants learn how architectures can be designed, evaluated, and documented in scaled agile software development endeavors. The focus is on how agile and architectural practices can be effectively combined.

Both training courses are primarily designed for architects, developers, product owners, and project managers in medium and larger software engineering endeavors. In addition, change managers and executives will find valuable insights on how proven architectural concepts, practices, and methods can lead to success.

As architecture is something that needs to be learned and experienced in practice, the training courses are hands-on. Case studies are used to apply knowledge and gain insights. This is supported by leveraging the descriptions of architectural practices that are based on the OMG Essence standard. The usage of Essence-based descriptions is a – most probably worldwide – unique value proposition of these trainings. The participants are empowered to learn by themselves and flexibly adopting and adapting architectural practices in different contexts.

The training courses will be offered in English and German. Moreover, there will be on-site and remote sessions. Training schedules will be announced at the beginning of 2024.  More details on each training course including the course descriptions, prerequisites, learning outcomes can be found on dedicated pages which can be accessed via my trainings page.

I would love to share more details on request. You can use the following channels to contact me.
