Lectures & Seminars

During my postgraduate studies I was responsible the following lectures and seminars.

  • Distributed Business Applications: The course dealt with the fundamental concepts of distributed objects, software architectures and software patterns. These concepts were exemplified by the J2EE platform (2004/2005). Slides are available in German only.
  • Integration Engineering (Part 1, Part 2): The course addressed the challenges of application integration and the design of distributed software architectures. These concepts were exemplified by the J2EE platform (2006/2007). Unfortunately slides are only available in German.
  • Software Engineering Seminar: Enterprise-wide Software Architectures and the Evolution of Application Systems. The seminar dealt with the concepts of enterprise architecture and life cycle of applications (2005). Slides are only available in German only.
  • Software Engineering Seminar: The SAP NetWeaver Platform and the SAP Portal-Architecture. In this seminar the SAP Application Server, Java Development Infrastructure, Web Dynpro Technology, Mobile Infrastructure and SAP Portal Architecture were investigated (2005/2006). Slides are available in German only.
  • Software Engineering Seminar: Software Architectures and Patterns. The seminar focused the fundamental concepts of software architectures and the pattern concept. The students explored various pattern catalogs and analysed the pattern concept in the context of software architectures (2005/2005). Slides are available in German only.
